Depthstraction
An experimental LÖVE game made in 1 week.
Playtime: 10-20 minutes
Controls: Mouse-only, used to click on things
Premise
What lurks at the bottom of the ocean? Is it the secret to life? A portal to another world?
Or is it the untapped economic boom of rare earth minerals? Corporate certainly believes so!
As self-employed employee #9891, your task is to explore various depths of the Mariana Trench, extracting it for all its worth and making that sweet American Dollar. As part of your work, Corporate will provide you with a handsome bonus for successful extractions, which (being the great self-employed employee you are) you can re-invest into the project!
There's a slight issue while you're down there: the creatures that lurk in the darkness don't want you in their domain. But just wait till they see what you're equipped with! Top-of-the line torpedo direction and fire systems will ensure your safety (just make sure you take enough with you!) If you're ever in a rough spot, we'll be sure to pull you back up.
How to Play
When using the radar, you must guess the angle of the incoming sea creature. Fire the torpedo and check if the creature has been hit.
